Julie Lam is a seasoned fundraising and communications professional with over
12 years’ experience in the non-profit sector. She began her career on the
frontlines as a face-to-face fundraiser, steadily progressing and learning from
the best in the field of fundraising.
Julie excels in creating and implementing regular giving products and
community fundraising challenges. With a comprehensive view of the supporter
journey, she crafts heartfelt copy that attracts, inspires, and encourages
supporters to take action.
Julie has initiated and established several notable community fundraising
events, including the Strong Women Challenge (ActionAid Australia), K’s for
Kids (Children’s Medical Research Institute), and Explore the Core (Raise
Foundation). She has also managed successful signature campaigns such as the
Great Cycle Challenge (Children’s Medical Research Institute), Two Feet and a
Heartbeat, and Sweetheart Day (HeartKids Ltd). Each of these initiatives
feature strategically segmented supporter journeys, ensuring a uniquely
engaging experience for all participants.
Currently, Julie serves as a Senior Fundraising Manager at Entertainment,
where she collaborates with over 400 fundraising clients. Her work not only
boosts their fundraising efforts but also gives back to supporters and helps local
businesses thrive.
