I hold a variety of roles across a number of organisations.

As the Head of Community and Partnerships at Compass IoT, I work with transport professionals to help build smarter, safer cities and roads using connected vehicle data. I get to work with incredible leaders, engineers, scientists and thinkers who are using data to solve problems that were not previously solvable. I also manage our community of over 2,000 Compass users through regular education workshops and events. Our data has been used to halve crashes on one of Sydney’s busiest roads, map road damage caused by the recent Lismore floods to help prioritise maintenance and repair and keep road workers safe on Australia’s largest ever highway pavement upgrade.

I also believe in empowering youth through education. I serve as a non executive board member with a team of passionate young people working to make sure future generations have equitable access to education, as a volunteer with Youth in Motion. Our CEO Caitlin was just recently recognised as an emerging Leader in Tech at the Startup Daily Best in Tech Awards 2024. youthinmotion.org.au.

I am also passionate about the startup community, and co-lead Australia’s largest startups and innovation event, Spark Festival. Spark Festival runs each year hosting thousands of startup founders, supporters, corporates and government to spark engagement across the ecosystem.

Formerly, I helped students, researchers and alumni start more than 1,000 technology enabled businesses at the University of Technology, Sydney, as Programs Manager, Inspiration at UTS Startups.
