Alice Zhang
CEO & Co-Founder

Alice co-founded Youth in Motion with Catherine during high school, where a small idea became a fundraiser, which then grew into a living breathing organisation. They are passionate about addressing social injustices, and is currently studying a combined Arts Law degree.
Likes
Cats, rats, food, animals, martial arts, dance, art, writing, and the ukulele.
Dislikes
Coriander, and musicals.
Fun Fact
Alice enjoys regularly changing their hairstyle and colour, confusing people.
Catherine Hong
Finance/Operation Manager & Co-Founder

She/Her
Catherine became part of Youth in Motion when it was all still an idea in Alice's head during the early days! Now she facilitates the operations of the team, holding team meetings and manages the finances.
She's gained so much from being part of this organisation and is really excited to learn more about managing teams and stakeholders. Currently, she studies Commerce and is also a cadet at EY.

Catherine is so scared of gore that she read the Game of Thrones Wiki instead of watching the actual TV show.
Vaishnavi Calisa
TLP Programs Coordinator

Vaishnavi joined Youth in Motion in early 2016 when it was still the pilot program, The Learning Project. At first helping out Alice and Catherine on a casual basis, Alice invited her to be the Coordinator of The Learning project. Her current role mainly involves processing client and tutor applications and pairing up tutors and clients.
She is very passionate about addressing educational disadvantage and inequalities in the healthcare system and is currently studying a combined Science and Medicine degree.
Likes
Chocolate, long walks, singing, dogs, swimming, cleaning, colouring in.
Dislikes
Country music, kimchi.
Fun Fact
When Vaishnavi was 5, she did a voice over for the TV show Backyard Science, in which she had to use an Indian accent.
Caitlin Tanaka
Communciations Manager

Caitlin join Youth in Motion in 2018 in the role of Communications Manager.` She's really passionate about reducing stigma around mental illness. She's currently studying a Communications degree, majoring in Media Art and Production.
