Whether you write poetry, short stories, essays or rants, or perhaps you prefer to draw, paint, or doodle, we want to see your work!

The Creativity Project is our annual art and writing competition that showcases the works of diverse and talented young people. Selected entries are published into our digital magazine. We want to showcase the diverse and vibrant voice of youth in Sydney, and provide an opportunity for you to be published and expand your portfolio.

Theme: TRANSCENDENCE

Upwards and upwards you climb — the swirling dust of chaos, the shadowy figures falling further and further behind. Looking ahead, you ask yourself where this journey is taking you. Sweat trickles down that soft spot of your spine and the warm glow radiating from your chest moves throughout your body until it seems to weave itself amongst the same golden haze of the horizon. What once felt like flickering city lights you left below has transformed into a flame — blazing and righteous and no end in sight. Even though unsure of what lies at the summit — or whether the peak even exists — you cannot deny this feeling of untamed excitement ebbing in your veins.

TRANSCENDENCE is about growth, moving forwards and upwards, and overcoming obstacles.
